Cachorro quente

cachorro quente
In Brazil, cachorro quente means hot dog. But cachorro means dog and quente means hot, so it would be dog hot.

The cachorro quente is folded like a dinner roll and it is filled with meat. Mostly people here have mustard, bacon, mayo, ketchup, peas, and corn on their hot dog. Be careful when you order one, they WILL put peas and corn on your cachorro quente.

A funny thing is that when you get it, they stab a fork into the top of the cachorro quente, and slide a serrated knife through the middle of the fork.

My dad has a xis (she-is) it is filled with meat, cheese, lettuce, onion, as always peas and corn, topped with a fried egg. The condiments are mustard, mayo, and ketchup.

So go to Santa Cruz AND GET A CACHORRO QUENTE
